Meijer Store Front

Meijer stores began in 1934 with the opening of its first grocery store in Greenville, Michigan. It has since grown into over 200 stores in six states.

A brand-new Meijer Store was built in Redford, MI and our BoxBolt product was used in the construction to connect the steel tube framing for the two-story glass storefront.

While making traditional connections to structural tube can sometimes be awkward and not aesthetically pleasing, the contractor decided to utilize the BoxBolt for its ease of installation, strength and visual appeal since the connections will be seen by everyone entering and exiting the store. By avoiding the need to through bolt or weld, the installation cost and time savings were substantial.
