Challenge: As the University of Texas’s new hosting area for athletic and concert events, The Moody Center needed a complex media platform array to be constructed throughout the security. Due to changes in the project’s trajectory, Bosworth Steel reached out to LNA Solutions, urgently looking for a solution to connect the platforms that didn’t involve welded connections, mainly due to the height at which the media platforms needed to be installed. The finished design and components were needed overnight, meaning finding the quickest, quality solution possible was paramount.
Solution: Considering the height of the media platforms and the strict time frame required to get the job done, LNA had to configure a quick solution that didn’t compromise the project’s structural integrity while keeping in mind the ease of installation necessary to complete the installation on time.
