One World Trade Center

One World Trade Center is the largest of a series of buildings in the area that is known as Ground Zero. This 16 acre site includes the National 9/11 Memorial. One World Trade has 2.6 million square feet of office space and the structure utilized 45,000 tons of structural steel.

CHALLENGE: Attaching curtain wall brackets to tube steel structure.

SOLUTION: Benson Industries won the bid for the curtain wall on One World Trade. They specified BoxBolt for use in attaching their proprietary curtain wall bracket to tube steel. The BoxBolt was chosen for its ease of installation into tube and the easy steel prep required.

Benson Industries purchased the stainless steel, size #2 BoxBolts and coordinated the installation with Tishman Realty & Construction. LNA Solutions worked hand in hand with both Benson and Tishman during installation and made several visits to site to assist and ensure proper installation.
